Winter Light

It’s my first time ever to celebrate Christmas and New Year away from family and everyone else dear. But fine I remain because life is good. I’m grateful for new experiences, especially those that make me see how my life has changed because of the choices I’ve made, for family and friends, who, in spite of the changes and distance, still remain true, and for circumstances where I can feel proud of myself and where I can see clearly that the Man above has been guiding me all along. He is indeed the reason for the season. Siya lang and no one and nothing else. So it doesn’t really matter how far away I am from everyone I love this Holiday season. Despite absence and distance, I feel the love. He is with me everywhere.
